EXAMINATION TIME MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES ("ETMT")

As a tutor, I have found that giving and marking assignments is an excellent feedback system which helps me to measure the understanding of my students. But I have also noticed that some students with excellent assignment scores have still struggled with examinations. In many cases, this is not the result of lack of knowledge, but of poor examination technique. Happily, at BMTC, we now teach Examination Time Management Techniques (ETMT) as an integral part of our syllabus. By means of such methods as mock examinations under actual conditions, BMTC students have found in ETMT the key to proving their learning to the full in the exam room!
