The following terms and conditions apply for all courses run by Birmingham Management Training Co. Ltd (BMTC). Students should refer to the section for 'All Students' plus either 'For Full-time Students only' or 'For Part-time Students only.'
For All Students:

For all courses, a minimum deposit of 50% of the first year course fee is required at the time of booking for courses up to 12 months. The balance of fees due is payable within six months of the course start date.

If you are an overseas student who wishes to enrol for a full-time ACCA or ABE course, to obtain a full-time student visa, you must be enrolled for a minimum of six papers for the first year and three papers each term.

For Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes validated by RDI, registration at BMTC must be followed by RDI registration.

For all programmes referred to in paragraph 3 above the College will assist the student to register with RDI once enrolment and registration with the College have taken place.

Once registered at BMTC, the student must ensure at all times that their personal details including change of address, email and telephone numbers are up-to-date and accurate at all times.

Where a student is given referral on any assignment or examination a payment of fees are payable to RDI and the College will collect the fees from the student and pass them on to RDI.

Once Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (“CAS”) have been issued confirming full-time student status, no refunds or course transfers or course deferrals are permissible other than in the instance of visa refusal.

For all students requesting CAS there is a non refundable cost of £25 in addition to the course fees. This payment must be received before the CAS can be processed.

At the discretion of the College, course deferral may be allowed for students who are still overseas awaiting their student visa provided the College is informed of the delay no later than two weeks after the scheduled course commencement date the student has booked for.

An administration charge of £50 will be applied by the College per deferral. A maximum of one such deferral will be allowed, after which all monies paid to the College will become the property of the College. The College will refuse deferral for visa students where it has reason to believe students have entered the UK on a student visa and are not attending the College.

All deposits are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred to other students.

Where the fee has been paid in full, a refund less the deposit can be made, provided written notice is received by the College at least two weeks prior to the course start date.

A charge of £50 will be made to students for all dishonoured payments. The College reserves the right to report offenders to their professional body.

The College reserves the right to dismiss any student at any time for behaviour which is deemed to be unprofessional, inappropriate or disruptive to other students. No fees will be refundable for any student dismissed under this section.

The College reserves the right to inform the appropriate authorities where a student has been dismissed from the College.

Course fees include the provision of study material as determined by BMTC.

All information and prices provided on BMTC’s website and other promotional materials is believed to be correct at the time of printing but is subject to change at the discretion of the College. Changes will be displayed on the College notice board and/or on the website.

The College reserves the right to change any aspect of a course including availability of the course, course dates, curriculum, tutors and study material at any time.

All fees quoted are inclusive of VAT and study material.

All course fees quoted include amounts payable to RDI except for referral on assignments/examinations and do not include payments to the relevant professional body for student registration, exemptions, and examination entries.

It is the student’s responsibility to register with the appropriate examination body and to enter all relevant examinations and to be in good standing with that body.

Students must be at least 16 years old to study at BMTC.

Fees are published separately for each term and are payable by all students studying at the time unless they have paid full fees prior to the publication of the new fees. Paying a deposit does not prevent any fee increase being applied.

Students are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner which demonstrates respect for BMTC and its staff, fellow students and property. Breaches of the student code of conduct can amount to gross misconduct, which may lead to expulsion. No refunds will be paid by BMTC where a student has been expelled.

Fees sent from outside the UK should be paid by banker’s draft or bank transfer. Fees paid in person at the College can be by banker’s draft, cash or credit / debit card.

Overseas students whose student visa application has been refused and who do not wish to re-apply for a visa, will, on production of a written request supported by a copy of the visa refusal letter (GV51 (FRA)), be refunded, after 4 weeks, the fees paid less an administration charge of £150,plus any courier and deferral charges.

BMTC is required to report to the UK Border Agency those students whose attendance is defined by the UK Border Agency as being unacceptable. Where a visa renewal is refused because of poor attendance or other good reason then BMTC will not refund any fees standing to the credit of a student’s account.
